Introduction

The Cat5 HDMI Expander system consists of Transmitter, Transceiver and Receiver. The system can extend HDMI signals over Cat5/5e/6 FTP cable. By cascading Transceivers, it is possible to extend the HDMI signals with almost unlimited capacity.
By taking the advantage of low-cost Cat5/5e/6 FTP cable, the Cat5 HDMI Expander can simplify installation and save cost. With its unlimitedcascading capacity, you can extend digital video displays almost anywhere. To simplify installation, the Transmitter and Transceiver units are fitted with a magnetic pad enabling them to be quickly attached to metal surfaces. A screw fixing plate is also included for permanent installations.
The Cat5 HDMI Expander system is perfect for digital signage, public information display, and large scale demonstration where crystal-clear, high-resolution digital video needs to be shown without distance limitations and with reduced installation costs.

  5. Multi-Port HDMI Transceiver provides another local HDMI input port and allowes auto/manual switching and able to multiply the HDMI into 2 or 4 HDMI displayers
  6. The video resolution can reach 480p with each cascading length < 80m, 720p/1080i with each cascading length < 50m(Based on Cat5/5e/6 FTP cable skew < 15ns/100m).
  7. Maximum Video Amplifier Bandwidth: 1.65GHz
  8. Compliant with HDMI 1.2, HDCP, and DVI 1.0
  9. Build in EQ to adjust the video quality
  10. LED status to indicate the HDMI activity
  11. Magnetic pad and attachable metal plate in each device to ease the installation
